About:
I love helping students make the transition from classroom to successful career, as well as helping licensed professionals add to their skills! I am particularly passionate about treating children 0-8 and their families. Helping develop systemically minded Play Therapists who know how to recognize and address the challenges children face in developmentally appropriate ways has led me to actively training, mentoring, and supervising others, as well as teaching on the graduate level. I am a Registered Play Therapist, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and an Approved Provider of Play Therapy CEs by the Association for Play Therapy. My playful approach to therapy also spills over into my work as a Marriage Therapist working from a Gottman Method approach and in my Family Therapy work where I utilize sandtray, puppets, games, books, art, and play (including Theraplay informed practice) to treat families.

About:
I am excited to learn about this mentoring program as I enjoy encouraging everyone to seek their full potential. Why not therapists?!? As a mentor, my main focus is consulting with therapists to help them build their own practice. In private practice I work with pre-teens to the elderly. I know what it is like to struggle to become an established therapist in my community. Having your own practice often means having many jobs rolled into one business. Learning how to break down each role is progressive, but it can be done. It would be my honor to support you.
